Philips Hue bridge resources

In Hue Essentials, go to the devices tab, select your bridge, and tap Resources. There you can see your resources. Here you can find an explanation of the resources:

Lights

Physical lights connected to your bridge. Some lights like the Hue Beyond contain multiple lights and use multiple light resources.

API URL: /lights

Sensors

Sensor resources can be physical switches and sensors like the Hue Dimmer Switch or a Hue Motion Sensor. Some sensors like the Hue Motion sensor contain multiple sensors (motion, light level, temperature) so they use multiple sensor resources.

Sensor resources can also be virtual (memory) sensors. They are used when configuring smart controls or when creating effects.

API URL: /sensors

Groups

The groups resources are rooms, zones, groups, and entertainment areas. They are visible in Hue Essentials on the home screen and under entertainment. If you cannot see all groups, check in the Hue Essentials settings if you have any hidden groups.

API URL: /groups

Scenes

Scene resources are scenes you use in Hue Essentials. Using a scene on a smart control or in a schedule can use additional scene resources. Effects in Hue Essentials also use lots of scene resources.

API URL: /scenes

Schedules

Schedule resources are used for the schedules in Hue Essentials. Schedule resources could also be used when setting up smart controls.

API URL: /schedules

Rules

Rule resources are used for smart control configurations, schedules, effects, and many more features.

API URL: /rules

Resourcelinks

Resourcelink resources are used for smart control configurations, schedules, effects, and many more features.

API URL: /resourcelinks

Clean up

Use these options to remove data from your bridge.
