Earlier (this year, I can’t say exactly when, as I only noticed it now) I was able to deactivate a motion detector for a certain period of time. I did this under Devices → Control devices.
It is possible that I can still program this, but I can no longer select the motion detector itself, only other motion detectors. This is still possible if there are two motion sensors in one room.
Why can I no longer select the motion sensor myself? Is this intentional or a mistake?
You do not need to add any actions if you would like to do nothing on the motion sensor between certain times. See for example: "Do nothing" at motion sensor
It is correct that you can no longer select the motion sensors itself for suspend motion sensor / cancel motion sensor actions. That is because you can just leave the actions empty instead.
