Controlling Hue lights with Ikea Tradfri accessories

Hello everyone,

Before paying for the TouchLink option, I would like to know if Ikea Tradfri accessories could control Philips Hue lights (I have a Hue bridge) and does it work pretty well ?

So, it’s working but in a very strange way.

The Philips Hue bulbs are successfully paired with the Tradfri smart controls and can be managed by them perfectly.

But these bulbs are seen as not connected (or unreachable) by my apps (Hue Essentials, Philips Hue) and my assistants (Alexa, Siri), even though their names are seen.

Any clue why is it working this way ?

This probably means something went wrong with pairing. Please make sure when you are using touchlink that you hold the Trådfri smart control VERY close to the bridge. Also switch off other lights that should not be connected.
