I am new to this website and I hope it is the correct place to raise my query.
I have had a number of Hue dimmer switches (model 324131137411) for a number of years and they are working fine. My query is about battery replacement. The instructions tell me to use a CR2450 as the replacement which I have done without any problems in the past. However these particular batteries have become hard to obtain where I live and I am wondering whether I can use an alternative battery. Interestingly, I have seen references to CR2032 batteries fitted to new dimmer switches. My question is, given my dimmer switches are about 5 years old, can I use a CR2032 battery instead of the CR2450 which are now difficult to obtain?
