I have taught several power strips, each with 5 sockets, to my bridges. The first strips were recognized as individual devices on the Hue Bridge. The new strips are now recognized as 1 device with 5 sub-devices. In the Hue app, you give the strip a name and then 5 names for the individual sockets. In Hue Essentials, however, all 5 sockets are now displayed with the name of the power strip. Renaming in Hue Essentials does not help, because the name of all 5 sockets on the strip changes.
since yesterday I see the version 3.1.11 on my smartphone. The problem is always there.
In your app, I see only one device „Küche Steckdosen“. Here could I only switch the first plug of the stripe.
In the original HUE App, I see also one device „Küche Steckdosen“. But when I tip on those device, I see the 5 devices of the plug stripe and could switch all 5 plugs separatly.
Thanks for the update, @ThomasP. I will look into it again and will provide an update here. Apologies for the inconvenience, I will try some third party power strips and hopefully I can reproduce the issue. It would be helpful if you can share the type of power strip you are using.
