The Hue Essentials app does no see either if my two Hue Bridges, though both function just perfect with the standard Hue application. I’ve restarted everything multiple times and I don’t have the VPN service running on my phone. My phone sees everything just fine and connects to my 2-bridge (connected) network. Any ideas?
Are all three lights on the bridge on? Can you try the connect manually option under Advanced and use the IP address from the Hue App? Do you get any errors?
If you have an iPhone, can you please open the Settings app and go to Hue Essentials? Check if all (local) network / internet permissions are all enabled.

Yes, all lights are on at the Bridge(s), and the Hue App itself connects perfectly to both bridges through my iPhone.
Using Hue Essentials, I cannot connect manually, and it errors out almost immediately.
All network/internet permissions are enabled in the Hue Essentials app.
