When a switch is configured with the new time-based lighting mode in the hue app, it still shows as unconfigured in hue essentials. If you configure it in the hue essentials app, the hue app doesn’t seem to notice any changes, making it very unclear what the actual state is. Even if you then go and save a new configuration on the hue app, but essentials still shows the switch as being configured however it was set up in HE previously, making it very hard to determine the actual behavior — two different apps confidently sleeping different state.
Related, while it is possibly to replicate the time-based lighting function in HE with manual rules, it means making upwards of ten rules per switch manually. It would be helpful if the wizard would walk you through creating a time-based lighting configuration that you could then customize. Ideally, it would also be able to read the existing time-based setup from the hue app so that you could then customize it more deeply.
