New bridge to replace defective one

I just got a new Hue Bridge Pro to replace a Hue Bridge that can’t find the network any more. I cannot connect to the old one in the app because of this, although it still works to control lights. Apparently the network port is dead.

I can’t seem to transfer my old lights over without the 6 character serial numbers. Searching doesn’t work, presumably because they already belong to a different bridge. Flipping power on and off didn’t seem to help reset them. Unfortunately I have recessed lights 20 feet in the air with springs, etc. Do I have any alternatives than to get a scaffold???

There is a method to reset them using a Hue dimmer but you’ll still need to be close to them anyway.

I’ve got a spreadsheet with all my Hue stuff listed with serial numbers and pictures of the QR code for newer devices just in case. I take a quick picture of any new devices when I install them and then add them to my spreadsheet
