MotionAware and Hue Essentials

Dear all,

I am currently thinking about buying a bridge pro but I am not sure if motion aware is working in Hue Essentials already?

My Plan is to use motion aware and if motion is detected and sundown to switch some lights on for a few Minutes. Afterwards they should turn off again until motion is detected again. This automation should stop at sunrise.

Is that working with a bridge pro and Hue Essentials?

I can’t see anything about motion aware in HE but what you want to achieve is possible in the Hue app anyway. There’s a daylight settings option that uses sunset and sunrise times or you can even choose the daylight sensor in a motion sensor elsewhere in the house if you want.
