Is Hue Bridge Pro supported?

Will Hue Essentials work if I migrate to the brand new Hue Bridge Pro? In other words: do you know if Hue Bridge Pro uses the same API as the old Hue Bridge?

Just to reply to myself: this is the info from Hue Essential’s facebook page, so it looks like it’s supported

Yes, the Hue Bridge Pro is supported in the latest version of Hue Essentials.

Even though it is supported, does it show correct details everywhere?
In the bridge resources view, there are 250 max rules. When I asked Phillips support, they said that max rules on bridge pro is 500. Could you please confirm or deny this statement?

I just migrated to the Pro looking forward to finally be able to make more rules and this is what I get.

The iConnectHue developer states that the limit is still the same but expected to be increased by a firmware update in 2026.
