Hue Secure Contact Sensor

Hi there,
Is there a way to support the Hue Secure Contact Sensor? I want to control lights with it, but the sensor won’t be displayed in the list of control devices in the Hue Essentials app.

I have the same issue. I want to be able to switch off the lights of my house when I leave at specific days and times but the device is not shown or supported. Very annoying

Hi, support for the Hue Secure Contact sensor is on the list. It will take some more time as it uses a new API and is not like other devices. Unfortunately Philips Hue did not document this new API so it is very hard to add support for it. This will also mean functionality will (initially) be limited. But I will do my best to get it working.

I have used the Philips Hue app , to add the sensor.
After then i can see it in home assistant.
But not (yet) in Hue essentials.
