Hue dimmer switch start Apple shortcut, how?

I would like to start a Apple Shortcut with a button on my Hue Dimmerswitch.

Challenge:

  1. Within the Apple Shortcuts app, I cannot access / select Hue switches via Home app.
  2. Within the Apple Home app, I can’t access the Apple TV Remote commands via automation.

Any ideas / suggestions how I can work around / solve the problems, perhaps with the hue essential app?

We do not have support for (Apple) Shortcuts at this time. It is on the wish list for future development.

If you are using a Hue bridge, you may be able to configure what you want to do using the Apple Home app.
