I bought the Hue Bridge Pro. With the installation al lamps were moved to the new bridge. Everything works fine in the HUE-app. However I can’t install the Bridge Pro in my HOME-app so I can’t control them from this app. The supportdesk informed me that I had to install the Bridge pro with MATTER in the home all. But everything I try the Bridge pro can’t be found. Has anybody had the same problem? And if so, have you solved this problem and how did you managed this?

I have the same problem, did you ever get it to connect to Home
Yes, I found a solution that worked for me: via CHATGPT
- Open Hue-app → Settings → Smart Home .
- Choose “Apple Home / Apple Home via Matter”.
- Choose +.
- I tried to recall the steps again but now I see the options AMAZON-GOOGLE-SMART THINGS-SONOS-OTHER APPS (could also have been APPLE HOME)
*I’m not very sure what the next step was, because I did these steps several weeks ago. I think I entered the MATTER-code that is printed int the back of the Hue Bridge Pro.
*The Hue Bridge Pro was connected to Apple Home and I could control all my devices.
Hope it works for you to
Thank you for your reply. I think I have tried every way possible to get these two to connect.just tried your method and I’m still getting “Accessory Not Found”… I’m considering getting rid of all my Hue stuff and getting Matter bulbs that work with Apple Home ![]()
