Hi! I’m on IOS. Is there a secret to using the Effects? They seem to not be switchable. As in, I can’t activate them since the buttons don’t seem to register.
Hello, we are aware of this issue and are looking into a solution. As more and more Philips Hue apps are facing issues getting updates pushed through Apple, please be patient. See the topic about this elsewhere on the community. We expect to push fixes into TestFlight first. The latest builds of 1.3.3 and 1.4.0 have the fix.
I’m using IOS and can’t even find the effects I purchased.
In Hue Essentials, open a room/group and go to the third tab (lightning icon). There you should see the effects. Use one of the defaults or create your own with the + button.
