Does Hue essential require a internet connection

Hey,

Might be a dumb question but does Hue essential require an always online internet connection just like with Tuya smart or is it hosted on the ZigBee device which in my case is the conbee II.

For the ConBee II, no Internet is required. The gateway and Zigbee devices work without Internet.

Note that in order to control the devices from Hue Essentials, the app needs to be connected to the same (WiFi) network as the gateway. But that (WiFi) network does not need Internet for it to work.
