Connect two sensors to the same light

I have a dark passage outside my house and I would like to set up some lighting that is triggered when someone passes from either side. I would like to minimize the wiring, by using one wireless motion detector in both ends of this passage. I am thinking that Hue could be the answer, but I cannot figure out if it is possible.
The idea is to have two automations, one for each motion detector. When the detector is triggered the light is started and is turned off a minute later.
The questions are:
Is it possible to control one (or two) lights from two separate motion detectors?
What happens when the instructions from the detectors conflict (one on/the other off)? Is the lights only controlled by the latest command?

You can actually do this easily using the default Philips app, there’s an option to group sensors for areas like this.

If you have 3 or 4 lights you can even use the new pro bridge motion aware zone grouped with a motion sensor.

Hue Essential offers much more flexibility when programming single sensors but for this use case I’d actually suggest you’d be better off programming it with the standard Hue app.

Not having the app able to see, manage, or use sensor groups is really painful.
