Can't set complication in watch face of Pixel Watch 2

I just bought hue essentials for my pixel watch 2.
When I try to add a complication to my watch face, the screen turns black and then nothing changed. The app is completely useless without this feature

Thanks for letting me know. This looks like a bug and will fix it in the next version. Apologies for the inconvenience. As a workaround, can you try swiping back on the black screen? The complication should still be saved.
