Dear Philips Hue Support Team,
I am writing to report a recurring and very specific issue with my Philips Hue bulbs. My automations, such as the morning “Wake up” routine, are not working correctly.
The problem occurs when the lights are turned off using the app. After being turned off this way, the scheduled automation fails to run.
I have performed a number of tests and have confirmed that the issue is specific to my Philips Hue White and Color Ambiance bulbs (model LCA004) that have been updated to firmware version 1.122.8 .
I have an older bulb with different firmware, and when I use it in the same automation, it works without any issues. This leads me to believe the problem is a bug within this specific firmware update.
I have already tried the standard troubleshooting steps, including:
- Recreating the automation.
- Deleting and re-adding the affected bulbs.
- Restarting the Hue Bridge.
Unfortunately, none of these steps have resolved the issue. This bug prevents a core feature of your product from functioning as intended, and I would appreciate any assistance you can provide.
