I’ve completely re-equipped my apartment with Philips Hue solutions, but I’m having a bit of trouble configuring my smart buttons in certain rooms.
The set-up:
- 1 connected bulb
- 1 motion sensor
- 1 smart button
The programming I want for my smart button:

1 short press: triggering of a scenario according to time of day and day (week / WE)

2 short press: Hue scenario n°2

3 short press: Hue scenario n°3

long press: dim light
And of course, when the light is on and you haven’t pressed the button several times, switch the light off.
One last point: I’d also like to disable the smart button for 1 or 2 seconds when the motion sensor turns on the light, to avoid accidental switch-offs by someone who has pressed the button while the light was being switched on.
Is this type of setting possible with the Hue Essential app?
I’ve tried to program this with Home Assistant and this blueprint, but it’s a gas factory and the multi-press management lacks responsiveness, causing unwanted behavior.
