Can you start (and stop) effects from Alexa? I love disturbing darkness & want an easy way to trigger without going into the app.
Starting effects from Alexa is not possible at the moment. It is on the wish list for future development.
Other ways to start an effect could be using a Hue switch or a widget / QS tile on your phone. Does that make it easier for you?
